| Restaurant de Prinsemarij, at the heart of Holland’s upper class region ‘het Gooi’, needed a new interior that suited its sophisticated, wealthy surroundings. Modern, classical and exclusive. Also, being situated on the first floor where the former town hall used to be, the space clearly was a place for people that are accustomed to being in ‘high places’. In accordance to this and the surroundings, MFD created an interior design and identity for the restaurant that matched the high ranking environment. Amongst other details by usage of a wall made out of leather and nut wood holding a ‘wide screen’ fireplace. |
