| The Rustic materials of this 'Hangar House' were chosen to juxtapose the many vibrant and loud colours, which dominate the owners’ life at work in the entertainment industry. Souvenirs from their many travels to the Far East further accentuate this serene environment. The use of American walnut, stainless steel and high-gloss varnish together unite into a modern yet warm interpretation of the space. The modern and strong lines throughout the house, like the kitchen area, closets and built-in closets, do not distract from the ‘warehouse feel’ but instead respects the integrity of the space and fortifies its architectural qualities. |
