A Battle for Kids Chefs
As an assignment for Young Perfect we designed the branding for the second edition of the Albert Heijn Allerhande Kids Kook Battle. Young Perfect revamped the whole event and organised it from concept to perfect execution. The competition took place in 5 Albert Heijn XL stores where the kids competed for the title of Allerhande Kids Chef 2017 and the main prize, a cooking workshop at the Allerhande Christmas Festival.
The Allerhande Kids Kook Battle was a part of the Dutch Agri Food Week with the aim of letting children cook healthier food, more frequently. Enthusiastic young chefs and sous chefs were asked to send in a tasty and healthy recipe. Those whose recipes were chosen by the professional Albert Heijn jury, were given the chance to compete at the kick off in the five AH XL branches. And the branch with the most contestants? There the participants were entertained by the famous host, rapper and presentor Yes-R!
The new event branding is fresh, colourful, young and dynamic. A cooks hat, baking pan, and previous event picture visualise the theme and target group. The background in bright green typical ‘Boerenbont’ pattern gives the branding a cheerful Dutch touch.
