NAC Fanshop gets total makeover
BREDA - This summer NAC’s fanshop will get a complete makeover. Breda’s premier league soccer team will take matters in their own hands again and aims to gain maximum profit out of selling NAC merchandise. NAC has asked foundation ‘Samen voor NAC’, Together for NAC, to manage the makeover. “NAC lives! Some much more can be done with the fanshop” says member Jean-Paul Kuypers. “So we decided to completely redesign the store. It should also become a hangout, that you would visit just for fun. Samen voor NAC asked us to design the new football store. Together we visited the NAC museum and watched several documentaries of which the new ‘Avondje NAC’ (One night at NAC). “Just to feel the vibe and demonstrate what NAC football and fans are all about. Because the new shop needs to radiate that culture. Both homely as professional.”
We took this at heart together with the aim of gaining more profit. When presenting the design in a Skybox at the NAC stadium we said: “You don’t need a shopwindow full of NAC shirts to seduce fans, because their hearts beat like a drum for NAC. So we better make sure the store’s interior is visible from the outside luring fans inside.
Homely & Professional
The new store will gain an extra 20 m2 of retail space. Also we improved it’s routing and incorporated a coffee corner and have made it wheelchair friendly. De fanshop will get a robust, warm and cosy look & feel by use of kee clamp system, racks with wooden shelves, a red brick wall and beautiful wooden flooring. All the way in the back we placed the new counter. On the wall behind it a remake of the B-Side graffiti at the old NAC stadium. At the right two fitting rooms with a nice black leather sofa in front. To chill, wait or to play a game of Fifa on the playstation.
Merchandise will be available online as well through a complete new webshop. The new fanshop is due to open the 3rd of August. Don’t forget to set a reminder because it’s NAC’s open day that day as well.
